This document was originally created in regular MS Word, then I got a Mac & converted it to Pages. The next best way that also partially gets around another Adobe Bug of not making active URL's and Mailto marked as such in Word and Excel. I'm able to export small Pages docs into Word11 for Mac, but I have a very important 400 page manuscript, with many embedded images & editing in progress that I cannot complete the conversion.
You need Acrobat XI in order to get around the issue and even then if there is a section or page break that requires a Page Orientation Change. You can take the same Word file take it to a PC and it will print as it should and there is other proof from people by Microsoft to prove the defects lie squarely within Acrobat Mac. Yet the basic code is shared between the PC version and the Mac version, differences Lie in GUI differences. They claim they can't figure out MS Page Breaks and section Breaks. It's been around since OSX.1 came on the scene.Īdobe Blames Microsoft and Apple and has washed their hands of it. This is a Long standing Bug adobe hasn't addressed.
